An Idea is Born

........Ma is 92yrs old and could not live by herself any more and moves into Pompallier House in Akaroa

So what do we do with her home, we have our own little bit of paradise but we love coming down to relax in and enjoy her garden........

"What if we set it up as a Luxury Boutique Bed and Breakfast that way everyone can enjoy Ma's lovely tranquil garden and beautiful house"

So in Dec 2015 our first Guests stayed and we have put it back to what Ma originally named the Lodge "FyrneBrooke House"

We do most the running of Akaroa FyrneBrooke House Charl is head gardener and Ali runs the Bed and Breakfast and helps out in the garden.

During the busy times we are lucky to have wonderful Wwoofers ( Young International Travellers) who help us around the property
